Due to the Auckland Chess Weekends tournament on Jul 22, we are starting a week later for Term 3 on the Jul 29.

If you are an adult looking for a beginner-friendly, casual environment to play chess in Auckland, we recommend the Auckland Central Chess Club which meets every Wednesday night from 6 to 9 pm in Auckland CBD in the Ellen Melville Centre, 2 Freyberg Place.

When you are ready for the more challenging tournament games, please join our very popular Monday nights or our monthly series, Auckland Chess Weekends.

The Auckland Chess Association is resuming interclub matches, starting with the A-grade. The first match is on the 18th of June, so please contact Timothy ASAP, if you want to represent ACC.
